Hi Aubrey,
Nice table you found. Reads like a used car saleman chats up his rides.
Nothing against any salesmen out there used car or otherwise.
> Okay. Checking out he Lincoln web site I found this table of electrodes:
>
> One message I get from reading it is there are several different version
> of E6011 (Fleetweld 35, 35LS, 180) and seven different types of E7018! I
> guess I need to be more specific when I ask questions. I'm pretty sure
> Fleetweld 180 is the 6011 I've been using. Fleetweld 47 appears to be the
> only E7014. There sure are a bewildering number of choices.
>
> I think it's humerous the way Lincoln editorializes as it describes the
> electrodes instead of being purely objective. "Here's a terrific
> all-position electrode...." "Operators consistently give this electrode
> high marks." "There's a long list of reasons why operators are so loyal
> to...." This kind of promotional advertising sees odd in table like this.

Prometheus: I planted blind hope in the heart of
him.
Chorus: A mighty boon thou gavest there to man.

Chorus: And have frail mortals now the flame-

Prometheus: yes, and shall master many arts
