How'd you know Steve? <grin>
There's something about rubber and plastic animals like to chew. Goats
definately like to chew electrical cords. All ours are encased in steel
shields.
The all time worst animal for chewing rubber, up here anyway, are
porcupines. anything made of rubber or plastic must taste like candy to
them, they'll eat all they can reach. Tires, seats, heater/radiator hoses,
electrical insulation, rubber cased car batteries even.
Hopefully critters won't be a problem in a shop. Regardless, any electrical
cord is vulnerable and if it's going to be carrying a load while you're not
there you have to keep an eye on it's condition.
