[TheForge] Upside down Press - oh what a tangled web we weave

A log splitter makes a great press as an example of a horizontal
press........ Gravity works for you in some cases - and your chasing long
things in two directions in front of the dies in others instead of having
them go up in the air and you balance one leg - so there are pluses and
minuses.

I have both - I like the option of using one of the other.
