[TheForge] Wealth is wasted on the rich

Rich or poor, those of us with a compulsion to create are outnumbered by
those with a compulsion to consume. I have met many well to do with
amazing shops, but percentage wise a small group. If the rich are more
poorly represented in the ranks of artisians, it is likely because when
you are born rich you have little enough exposure and less encouragement
in those pursuits as you are trained in the ways of managing your
eventual wealth. If you make your own fortune, it is unlikely your the
type that will back up a half mile and snarl up traffic for an odd
length of rebar, or spend hours staring at dead vines on the fence in
winter sorting out in your head the best and minimal way to mimic them
in iron.
