Your right on there Frosty. A lot of sound problems can be considered to be
line of sight. Closed openings or baffles along with good wall construction
will really help with the types of noises we make.
That means don't face your shop door towards your neighbor's house.
...Unless you absolutely want to jerk his chain.

Believe it or not, one of the best soundproofers is a closed door. Even a
window open just an inch or two will let a lot of noise out. It doesn't
matter how well soundproofed a shop is if the door's open.
