Yeah.  What he said.  My 300# Alldays & Onions is turning into a 3-5
year project.  It cost $200 to move it a few miles, over $1000 for the
concrete, big bolts, timbers etc., many hours of work to fix gross
defects, overhaul it, make new parts, get it operational and test it.
Still a long way to go to:

   Find and install a suitable power source

   Modify dies to be useful for my scale of work, say, 2-1/2" dia and
   smaller.

   Learn to control it, make suitable tooling, etc.

If I had a spare $20,000, I could have it working by the end of
September.  As it is, I'll be happy if I make some real progress on
the power source before the snow flies.

I gather the Nazel is bigger than the A&O (400# vs 300#?).  That's the
kind of thing I'd agree to take if it were free and FOB my dooryard.

On a less negative note, if you're where you can have 3 phase power
run in for the cost of a suitable entry panel, it would be less of a
white elephant than if not.
