Pete, This is why the smallest vehicle I own is a small parts
chasing pickup truck. Cars are so frustrating that I can't stand working on
them & I refuse to go to a dealership with their $70 per hour fees - so I
gave away the wife's old car sitting in the field that I couldn't fix. The
guy came back later to tell me how it took two weeks and $1500 worth of
parts to make that free car work............ that certainly made me fell
like I'd done the right thing!
On the note of how the wife looks at things...........Funny how her old
car can't be turned into a garden planter - but anything I leave in one
place for six months is fair game!!
Your criteria for auto designers is fabulous.........wonder if they're
gonna get liscensed like farriers? Probably not though - as they burn gas
..........so GW is way in favor of them! Oat burners ain't got a chance in
that respect.
Ralph
