Mike;
While you are thinking about it....putting in some in-floor
anchor loops is probably worth the effort. I put in several and
wish i had more everytime i want to drag something heavy across
the shop or anchor some device or other ..or for bending..or..you
get the picture.
Welded 3/4" thick loops to a perpendicular spread of rebar that i
wired underneath the rebar in the slab, then wired an upside down
tin can over the loop with the top of the can 1/4" below the top
of the slab. Ran some triangulation measurements from the posts
so i could find them again. ( lost some of the notes and there's
one loop I still can't find).
When the floor was cured i cut through the top of the can to get
to the loop.
Only disadvantage is that they collect crud and have to be
cleaned out when you want to use them.....PF
