Well Kevin, we all know who doesn't hang out at the local coffee shop 
solving the world's problems with the boys now don't we? <grin>

You ACTUALLY sent them suggestions? You're a senator or the like perhaps? 
Lord knows scientists don't really call the shots for the space program, 
politicians do or Challenger might still be with us.

If it hadn't been for politics we would've had a runway to orbit to runway 
space program in the 60's. Of course if the Soviets hadn't put people in 
space we might not've gone at all.

Yeah, right! Space is too valuable to not exploit, it's just too damned bad 
the politicos hold the reins.

Actually though, there are or were a rocket scientist or two on the list. Of 
course they wouldn't dream of listening to them either. <grin>
