Dang right it's a compliment! :)

I think blacksmiths were (and maybe still are) the worlds first and 
best metal recyclers.

Give any one of us a couple of good hard rocks and a piece of scrap or 
found metal and we'll probably find some way to make something useful, 
even if it's only something to make the next piece of metal into 
something better.
