Doug is a real nice person as well as a very creative smith. He was an Art professor before he saw the light and became a blacksmith. He lives in rural Missouri about an hour or so south of St. Louis. I took my first blacksmithing class from him, "Kitchen Smithin" at Campbell School and he ruined me for other teachers. 

While ALS is a terminal illness, one should never give up hope for a drug to slow it down or stop it.
