The best cure for warts that I've heard of (and successfully used) is to
rub the wart with blossoms of Mullen plants. By this time of the year,
most Mullens have finished making seeds, but look around, especially on
soil that was disturbed by grading, bulldozing last year along
roadsides. Mullen has very fuzzy leaves and a pronounced tall stalk
that has yellow blossoms that are followed by seeds that make a 3'-4'
long wand. The dried wands can be dipped into paraffin to make a great
torch.
