I probably can't help with your specific problem, other than to sympathize. I've tried to chase down a few numbers, including what was an ongoing "prank" call to my home number, but other than what you get via switchboard.com (or equivalent) is probably all you'll get, even if you pay. In fact, my wife was the one chasing the prank call and it turned out that she ran up a bill with the local phone company (they charge you to trace calls, even if you get the police involved, *69 included) but the phone company itself provided nothing more than you get via the internet.

Somewhat related: Does your local phone company allow you to block incoming calls without caller ID (in other words when the caller blocks out their number)? I have both Verizon and AT&T services (personal and business) and neither offers that option. In the end, with the prank calls, we ended up going with an unlisted number (changing what we had for almost twenty years). My son is in an area where he can block any call that does not ID the caller. In my opinioin this should be the law averywhere. If you block you ID, I should be able to block your call. Sorry for the venting. I really do sympathize with your problem.
