I figure the order is
Quench tank no hesitation or time to consider severity...from there I 
plan  what is the quickest way to
 Ice....and if it is called for ( assessment). If it's a good burn then
Ice till you need sleep.
At this point i used  to go for a fist full of asprin....then The 
Brazeal Bros came to visit and introduced me to pine tar which i  doubted.
No longer...I'm a convert. Pine tar is the stuff.
Last really good self-barbeque i used ice till late at night. Everytime 
i removed the ice the burn lit back up.
So heeding Brian Brazeal, i smeared on pine tar ( ugly looking stuff) 
and in about 20 min the pain went away and stayed away. It healed much 
faster than I'd expected.
The whole thing smacks of astrological medicine way too much for 
me...but it worked....Pete F
