	Point well taken, assuming I actually got it.  I'm not
	defending MS in all terms, if that is what you think.  
	I disagree with many of their policies and philosophies 	
	in terms of being a user of their products, but credit 
	must be given where due, and in this one respect it is 
	very definitely	due.  They could have done a far better
	job in terms of the fundamental design philosophy of the
	OS.  The registry is an utter clusterbugger in its very
	conception, for example.  But Gates was dead on target
	with the idea of making the OS as idiot friendly as possible
	because had he not insisted upon this, MS would have gone
	nowhere in the market.  It is precisely this decision that
	placed them on top of the heap and why systems such as
	UNIX sucked ditch water in the world of the common end
	user.  There are very few people that would have cared
	to learn how to install, much less configure a device
	driver.  They just are not interested.  Lassitude has
	its price, just as everything else does.  Had MS taken the
	higher road, someone else would have done what they did
	and would probably be top dog.
