[TheForge] guardrails and handrails

I have done both and have never really priced them separately. I usually tr to come up with a composite rate per lineal foot, pitched or horizontal rail. I know I have screwed myself on some but have gotten better as time goes on. Also the lineal foot price for a project has included simple grab rail when installed on the opposite wall from the wrought iron.
I am not making as much on the pitched rail section, but make more on the grab rail. When it all boils down to cost per lineal foot they seem to feel more comfortable, than breaking everything down by type of railings. Also most of the "cut and paste" shops around here, anyway bid everything by the total lineal feet.
