BisulfIte would, but bisulfAte won't.  Bisulfate is just hydrogen
sulfate;  sulfate is non-volatile.  (SulfIte is dissolved SO2, and is
volatile, but a weak acid.

Does the bisulfite creep out of the barrel and eat your shop?
