Through a funny chain of events- a swiss blacksmith was looking for a 
hand crank blower, I pulled out old french blacksmithing magazines- 
anyway, I found a german blacksmith supply company- Angele is the name- 
www.angele.de
and they sell, brand new, a treadle powered coal forge. Its about 18" x 
24", on a steel stand, with a big flywheel underneath, and you can sit 
at it and pedal away to your hearts content. Same forge is also 
available hand crank or electric. No price is given on the catalog I 
downloaded, but it doesnt look all that fancy or expensive.
