SPCA, you know why you're getting this.

Guys on TheForge, I'm sending this along to you too, because, while many of
you may not be cooks, I'm sure many of you have wives that are. This is a
special List, for the many more creative and interesting things we make from
the Middle Ages- things like erupting volcanos and fire breathing dragons,
as well as illusion foods, such as marzipan shaped into realistic looking
peach pits, or veal shaped into apples, that even when you pick them up, you
don't realize they're made out of veal, until you bite into them. There are
even "dishes", quite edible, made out of sugar paste.

So, ignore this if you're not interested, and please, pass it along to
anyone you think might be interested.

"When in doubt, heat it up and hit it with a hammer."
 Blacksmith's credo.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is probably not a
cat.

Never a horse that cain't be rode,
And never a rider who cain't be throwed....
