	You mean an acetylene torch?  I don't think so.  First of all,
	tungsten has a very high MP, which is why they are used as
	electrodes.  Second, I'm not at all sure I would want fumes
	containing oxides of thorium in my shop.  Third, I don't see
	how you reason that a torch would produce a nice sharp point,
	rather than a rounded blob.  Could you explain this?
