How 'bout some "deep-fried" crow?

You're confused.   In NJ, the closest thing we have to Nazis are the
Republicans.  (And East coast Republicans are Liberal with a capital "L"
compared to West Coast Republicans!)   You remember the election some
years back, where the Republicans hired off-duty cops (in uniform) to
stand outside the polling places in black areas?  They were there to
assist the voters, of course, not to intimidate them.  Funny thing that
Florio lost by only 2% of the vote statewide that election.  Tax issue
of course.  The Republicans rolled back about $2.50 of my taxes that
Florio's administration had imposed.  So George III's enthronement by
the House of Lords wasn't the first time the Republicans pulled this
shit on us - just maybe the first time nationwide.  Wonder how they'll
try to defraud the voters THIS time?

No, you'll be  too late for the PigFest.  It's only about a week and a
half away.  We'll expect you at the Holiday Party, tho.  Hang around
there a while and put that bastard behind bars.

We're on our third or fourth PV pig roast.  Fund raiser for the
blacksmithing program.  They just bought one of John Larson's air
hammers (another thing you've probably missed by living in vaporwear
land so long) from money raised this way.  You KNOW J.L.'s got to have a
good hammer - he had the sense to buy a set of Grasshopper plans!

I do suspect that pig roasts have got more popular since some folks
started going on the road with the roasters.  The same outfit has done
the PV pig roast since the first, I think.  Mastori's does them too, I
think - tho I could be wrong.  Remember the long-pig skewer MIB made? 
Tom has put it to use (on "short" pigs, I'm pretty sure) a couple times
now.

Enjoy.  Don't break down in the Rockies on a snowy day.  Or bring a lot
of extra firewood in case you do!

	When is it?  I may leave in a week or so.  I got a subpoena
	to be a witness at the trial of the asshole that snatched my
	wallet last Dec. and did me for $5K on the cards and stole
	my favorite photo of Loida.  I'd like to help hammer that
	bastard into the asphalt, but I think I want to come home
	more.  If they cannot convict him on the evidence as it
	exists, they should all go find janitorial work or something
	similar.  I mean, they have his mug right on the surveillance
	tape as he's buying $1000 worth of ghetto-wear at the mall.

	OK, what is up with pig roasts lately?  I have NEVER ONCE
	known anyone to speak of pig roasts and this is the third
	one I've been invited to in as many weeks.  It started when
	Dan the Genius asked me to come to Seattle to partake, but
	the Jeep was wrecked but two days and I had no humor for
	roasting a pig.  Is this some new fad thing, like deep frying
	turkeys?  Actually, deep fried birds are really good.  Probably
	hell on your body, but very tastey.
