30,000 mfd is a 30 Farad capacitor.   Not a difficult one to find in 
12-30 volt range since they are used by high end audio systems, but 
pricey.  Even used they run a couple hundred bucks.    AC motor start 
capacitors are generally rated in the 5 to 20 mfd capacity range and 
rated for 300-400 volts, so you would need a lot of them.
