Daniel, Are you a member of an ABANA affiliate?
Does your affiliate have a group policy?
If you hand out brochures promoting your affiliate group
while doing your demonstration, does that count as an affiliate affiliated
event?  Then are you covered? (I don't know either)
Since this "event" requires you to carry your own insurance, 
one would think that they could make some suggestions.

   I have asked to demonstrate blacksmithing at a civil war event.  Unlike
the
SCA, this event requires demonstrators to have their own insurance. I have
always had demonstrators insurance through membership in "Ye Olde World
History
Foundation".  It is a blanket organization that provides insurance for it's
members at a group rate.  Unfortunately, they recently had their policy
canceled.  Most Ren faire people that I know, get (got-past tense) their
insurance through this organization. If I had to get a personal policy, it
would cost me over $1000 per event and that would eliminate any smithing at
events.

Anyone know where I can get insurance for demos?  Any other blanket
insurance
groups out there?
