He has a good selection of Pyro Ceramic platten plates,  a great guy to deal
with, and has the cheapest prices for it.
The largest size is 2"x 12" and is about $20; smaller sizes are cheaper.
It is a very specialized transparent hi temperature and abrasion glass.
It is best to mount it with a thick layer of flexible epoxy. Sort of float
it on the platen so you don't develope any potential fracture zones between
the plate and the "glass"
