A lot of drill presses this size are Morse Taper number 2, but I don't 
know specifically. Can you borrow an MT2 taper something or other from 
someone and see if it fits?

Perhaps....

The ALBRECHT chuck has a smaller diameter mounting hole...So when I find out
what I have in the press/how to get it out safely I can hopefully get what I
need...
