Are you talking for tinsmithing or blacksmithing.  If the latter, do you
mean rolling "the hard way" or "the easy way"?

Tire benders have been around a long time.  Heavy duty ones can roll
3/4" x 2" stock the easy way - but I don't know for sure whether they'll
do it cold.  They can be hard to come by.

The same thing can be done with much simpler bending tools.

Bending that stock the hard way is another matter altogether.
