[TheForge] Conference comps

Guys, 
     There is a saying I live by because I tend to be paranoid: 

"Never atrribute to malice what can easily be explained by incompetence."  

     This probably partially applies to this situation in this way.  This is not some dark conspiracy to funnel tons of money under the table to rich evil power brokers.  It probably came about the way most of these things come about;  Someone asked for expert help, then someone else said yes, if they could get in free, the first guy worked it out and now we have some workers getting comped.  No big hairy deal, no dark conspiracy, Tell Moulder and Scully to have a coke and chill out.
