Dave,
I think you may be mis-understanding me. I am not trying to say that you are
going to get anything ( $$$) form being a board member.
I know for me it is impossible for me to run as I just can not afford to do
so. Partly I am on the west coast and it used to be that many of hte meetings
seemed to be more in the east. ( makes sense as that is where most folks are,
just a fact of life.) That and I could not afford to take the time off from
work.
Then I am already streched fairly thin in several other groups and I know I
could not do the job in the manner it should be done.
I respect those who can and do run.
And if I gave the impression that I thought otherwise that was not intended.
