[TheForge] Blacksmith medical cure now sheep (ot)

I thought that the cattle/sheep wars were due to the fact (as I remember)
that sheep tend to eat grass down to the roots and kill it (if left to their
own devices), whereas cattle don't??

Sheep. You want sheep for lawn mowers. Sheep are grazers, goats are
browsers. Simply put sheep like eating grass and other ground veggies where
goats prefer leaves, bark, etc. from off the ground plants, shrubs, trees,
etc.

Sheep also have a tendency to wag their tails when they eliminate, spreading
the berries. The berries are also okay for the lawn right out of the factory
being not very "hot."

Goats on the other hand can be turned from a tastey treat by a word from the
master/mistress while sheep are about as stupid as chickens and so aren't
likely to respond to much more than "come and get it." Well, okay most sheep
can be taught their own names.

It wasn't till sometime around the turn of the last century that mechanical
mowers took over lawn care from flocks of sheep. Prunning ornamental shrubs
on the other hand have never been willingly left to goats. <grin>
