hello;

i have these all ready.
theforge.1995 file appears to be an edited version of theforge.1996.
a quick 'diff --side-by-side theforge.1995 theforge.1996' shows this.

what are missing are theforge wugate archives from the end of january
1997 to december 1998. december 1998 is when the majordomo qth.net
epoch begins.

for those really interested there is available on qth.net a compressed
tar file, tforge.tar.gz which has the majordomo qth.net epoch in html
pages. these archives are in reverse chronological order.
i.e.
    december 2001
    november 2001
    october 2001
    ...
    january 2001

within each month the messages are latest to oldest.
to get the idea please refer to:

http://mailman.qth.net/archive/theforge/theforge.html

the tforge.tar.gz file is 14,095,567 bytes. even with a fast
connection it appears that qth.net is rate limiting the download, so it
takes a good while to download.
