i would like to start at the very beginning.
if you have archives before qth.net they are probably better than
the archives i have. i am missing all of 1997 and most of 1998.

my goal is to have the searchable theforge archive be operating
system independant. should run under linux, macosx, and ms windows.
to meet that goal any programs used to create, maintain, and search the
archive must be available under linux, macosx, and ms windows. the least
common denominator is perl, mysql ( relational databse ), and apache
( httpd, web server ).

giving me access to your archives would be a big help.
