You may be able to get a commercial supplier to supply what you want but I
doubt it. I know the manufacturer's don't show that option. Probably
because they don't want to deal with the problems that might arise.
At first, I was going to suggest you just get a knob set like these:
http://www.yalelock.com/2_products/product_page.cfm?StyleName=Cirrus
but then I wondered if there was some other engineering and I see on this
lever set:
http://www.yalelock.com/2_products/product_page.cfm?StyleName=Woodland
that the spindles are "strengthened". I would assume there are some
differences because of torque.
Obviously, all of your sets will be passage sets unless you have a separate
cylinder/deadbolt or thumb lock.

Subject: [TheForge] doorknob hardware
I'm replacing the doorknobs in my house with forged lever type handles.
Does anybody know of a source of latch hardware (the stuff inside the door
that isn't visible)?
I could modify existing hardware but would rather replace the whole thing.
Buying all new knob sets and throwing away the knobs seems kind of silly...
Thanks for any pointers!
