I have the forge archives from day one for the first
seven years or so.
I have also written a visual basic search program
specifically for searching through them for tidbits,
key words, boolean searches etc. it can take a couple
minutes to search them all, but it can be very useful.
Its been three or four years since I looked at it and
the format may be different under different list
servers, but I would be willing to resurrect it if
there is enough interest. Perhaps we could collaborate
and put together a comprehensive archive. Nowadays we
could put the whole thing on a single CD if we could
get it working, along with the search program.
Just imagine: Everything that was ever asked about
thermite on the forge - now that is a useful
thing!(oops, did I say thermite? :-))
