I bought a Hilti sytem for horizontal sets. The rep gave me the
cartridge gun so I just had to buy the adhesives etc. Very good system
but pricey. They have a storefront on Delaware Ave in S. Philly that
stocks their whole line plus they just have fairly recently gotten a
devoted area in Home Depot . They had a rep stationed there for what
seemed like a month or so to get it off the ground. I tend to buy just
enough of that stuff to do the particular job, so if I buy too much it's
good to know I don't have to eat it if it came from Home Depot. I know
other folks who use their products and swear them. Other than that I
typically use mechanical stuff for horizontal like lags with shields
etc. Hilti has some good strictly mechanical fasteners too but again, a
little pricey. I'm going to look into Polygem. Thanks for the info.
