Is Barbara quoting shipping costs only, or both list price and shipping?

I'm pretty sure that "tonne" is not just the British way of spelling "ton".
If I'm right, it's a metric ton, which is a shade over 2200 lbs U.S.  That
might make a difference in your cost calculations.

I'd like to know how many smiths here in Florida/Georgia/Alabama might be
interested in getting together to buy a tonne or so.  The pound is at about
$1.85 right now, so that would work out to $464/tonne, delivered to Boston,
or $.21 per pound.  Somebody better check my math; that looks WAY too low.
At that price, I might go for a tonne all by my self.
