Rome,
What's the ballpark cost for importing Pure iron? I have a small supply
of it stashed away for special projects. It really is nice to work with.
I'd be tempted to get 500 lbs.
Rob

Anyone who got their hands on this material knows how wonderful it was
to work with. But, just
like many a good thing........the east coast importer stopped bring it
to the USA. While it is true
that it was expensive, but the ease of working with it more than made up
for the cost in reduced
forging time.

If there are enough people out there interested, the possibility of
importing it are very good. Right
now I have standing pre-orders for 5,000 lbs. What needs to happen is
this number has to be more
like 20,000 lbs in order to get a break on the shipping.

So, if you are interested, please reply and pass this message on to
others who might be interested.
