I've been using plain bees wax or lately WD-40 in a squirt bottle. I got a 
gallon can of liquid WD-40 and picked up a cheap spritzer bottle from the 
Dollar Store. This seeps to work well also.

Will...  what does the parafin give you that the bees wax doesnt?
