[TheForge] New Bandsaw question

Chris:

I think it will do a lot of that.  If the 1050 is
still in the annealed state, it should be no problem. 
If it's been hardened, I'd heat it up in the forge at
the point you want to cut it, take it out, and either
anneal it or normalize it, and then you should have no
problem cutting it with the bandsaw.  I've cut
railroad rail on my bandsaw before.  For wood, get a
wood cutting blade.
