Does anyone have a stash that they would like to share. (for a fee of
course).
Fred Shaffer in Glen Rock, PA 717-235-1912 has quite a nice supply of a high
quality (double to triple refined) wrought iron salvalged from the structure
of an old building. Runs $1-2 per pound. Probably has a couple thousand pounds
left. Mostly 1/2", 3/4" and 1" squares and rounds. This stuff is a delight to
work but lacks some of the inherent, coarse fibre characteristics of the
earlier, lesser refined product.

At last contact, Wally Yater still had about 20' and many tons of a wrought
iron bridge somewhere in his yard. Getting it might be problematic but it could
be had.
