As this list is a vast a source of trivia that exists on this planet I 
would like some help here.

I just finished watching "The Last Samurai" with my son.

It reminded me strongly of a film that I saw in the early to mid  70's.

It was an "ART" film , Japanese, lots of symbolism. It dealt with the 
same subject, feudal warlord resists corrupting influence of the west.

The Samurai was identified with the symbol, "Mountain".
I thought it was a Mifune movie, but none of the Titles look familiar.

This is driving me crazy, all right crazier.
