OK, here we go again with another one.  George posts a seemingly
reasonable proposition to this forum, but why through Dan?  Why
not directly?

It's all these little weird things that people on both sides of
the argument do that leaves me scratching my head.  There's a
dance going on, but I can't quite pin down the steps.
