The real sad thing and what is most ironic of all, is that for all of Clair
Yellin's purported concern (and that of the rest of the members on the ABANA
Executive Committee), for the Yellin tools, their legacy and promoting of
the art of blacksmithing, the ABANA Executive Committee as per the Dec 21,
2003 letter from Jerry Kagele to George Dixon notified him that all present
and future advertisements in any ABANA publication are severed.  Here is
George who teaches and publishes the best resource newsletter "The
Traditional Metalsmith" on the tools and techniques used in the Yellin shop,
being banned from advertising the resource through ABANA because of Clair's
seller's remorse of the tools, and is just another example of the abuse of
power and abuse of the use of Anvil's Ring Kagele is so fond of.  What a
great service to the blacksmithing community!  You can put a spin on
anything I have to say.  All I'm asking is that rather then ignore the
conflict and continue to keep voting these people on the board, to take the
time to read the mess of documents George has laid out and make up your own
minds, then vote.    Bill
