	Forget the general politics, molest metal, but let us also not
	forget issues such as this because it does in fact effect us
	all as smiths and artists.  It is precusely this sort of
	irresponsible, hysteria generating nonsense that results in
	the whittling away of our rights.  Back in 1958, the s-called
	"switchblade act" was passed in response to hysteria generated
	regarding street gangs.  Now a person can go to prison for
	carrying a "switchblade" or "gravity knife" in many jurisdictions
	regardless of the reasons for carrying, which in any event are
	none of anyone's business.

	Don't be lackadaisical; this is what "they" count on, and it
	has been wildly successful.  We can reign it in, but it won't 
	happen by itself.
