Lifelong Republican here... one of my best friends is a Democrat. I have to 
ditto Bruce on the choice of candidates (just switch the party). I do vote for 
Joe Lieberman for Senate....only.... I do beleive there is a bias and here is 
my case. 

   1. Almost all of the big college journalism depts are hotbeds of liberal 
thought. This is an easily verifiable fact, just look at what passes for 
journalism in college newspapers and see the reaction to any conservative editorial 
(the very few that ever show up are usually from outside the departments)

   2. In order to be percieved as "fighting for the little guy" you have to 
be reporting liberal causes, in fact according to the media there are no 
conservative causes... after all us Republicans only want to "steal all your money 
and give to a few big companies"...

  3. Many of the facts that are reported as facts as far as liberal claims 
are often later disproven but it is never reported publicly like the original 
faulty claims.... do we remember the Swedish study of electromagnetic fields 
that was completely discredited?  The administrations claims about the WMD's 
first looking to be a bad call, now new evidence may prove or add further support 
to those claims... heres a stretch... will there be a drum beat in the press 
as loud as thier drumbeat against? Let me stick out my neck and say.... no.

 I could fill volumns with stuff that has stuck in craw....
