I picked up a small pile of odds and ends today at

1/2" square was .49 per pound. 3/8 round was .55 per. Highest was
1/8"x1" at .75 per (all hot rolled a36). The boys there thought that 
prices
were more or less stable here. Whether they come down is anybodys guess.
Mine would be...maybe.

If you're interested take a look at their new coil unwinder. Capacity 
of 5/16"x72".
Uncoils and also stretches so that the plates will be flat and stay

Gas is $1.99 gal. I paid $2.64 for a half gallon of milk. What's going 
on
there? Can't see how we can blame the Chinese for that. Oh yeah. Soybean
prices are very high (China again). My dairy farmer neighbor said their 
soybean meal
price went from $1000 per month to $3000 per month.
