Nope.  It's a group on Yahoo.  Mike Speranza has an AOL address and belongs 
to this discussion group on yahoo.

This is a serious group of rope makers ranging from hobby type rope makers, 
the merely curious, historical site operators and professional modern 
manufacturers.
