OK, one of my BIG buttons here - Mr Gibbons wrote a number of books
("Stalking the wild Asparagus" among others) about wild food NOT health food, WILD
food. Stuff you could find in the woods, or on the beach or in a vacant lot, that
you could eat. He got some talk show apperences and, even though he explained
this time and time again, Jonny Carson just could not grasp the idea that a
man could be interested in wild food without being some kind of health food
fanatic. The man liked hambergers, he just also liked cattail roots, morels and
raspberries.
