You mean heat color, John?  Something like: dull red heat when seen in a
dimly lit room?

I have an engine that needs repair one of these days.  That sounds
doable with my equipment.

I have a big make 'n break that was repaired successfully before I got
it.  I can see a fairly tidy but mot very smooth seam, a foot or so
long, with a mirror but I haven't investigated what it's made of
because it's on the under side of the cylinder and pretty hard to get
at.
