[TheForge] inflatable castle

Now there's a thought that's been brewing a while.

Imagine prepackaged buildings. Inflate to erect. Maybe they could
have aluminum "I-beams" of some sort of figure-eight construction.
Inflate the two connected tubes, voila' an "I-beam". Make it right, you
could roll it up when deflated. Easier technology than aluminum soda
cans!

To make it "fire proof", pump it up with water, instead of inflating it
with air. Gives it heft; keeps it from blowing away in a stiff breeze.
Have a few pressure-relief valves to relieve pressure in case of fire.
Might be safer than steel or wood.

In the "build it yourself" vein, the blower is the big bite. I was in
Sam's
Club yesterday and they had one of those kid's inflatable jumping
thingies
for sale for $195. It's inflated by a rather nice looking cast
aluminum
blower about 12" in diameter with a 1/3 hp, 120v motor.

I was tempted, even though I already have several blowers, not having
spare
cash disuaded me though it would've been kind of fun trying to figure
out
something to do with an inflatable castle.
