They dont have to shoot us- they can just wait a little while, and they
will be able to buy us, or better yet, just foreclose on all the bills
we cant pay, and get us cheap. At a certain point, when nobody has a
job, Walmart wont be able to sell that last 10 million of cheap plastic
junk, and the chinese will take over walmart.
But it is still possible to buy american- it just costs more. And most
of us arent willing to do that. I actually make an effort when I can.
A fair amount of my steel actually comes from nucor plants and other
west coast mills- just because it is closer, it is cheaper, so my local
yard buys it.
And you can buy a lot of stuff made in america- you just have to look
at brand names. For example, Makita and Bosch make most of their hand
power tools right in the USA. Nissan trucks are made in Tennesee.
Michelin tires are made here, and so is Klingspoor sandpaper.
Its those squirrely foreign sounding companies you gotta steer clear
of- Like those ford and chevy trucks that are made in mexico and
canada, those dewalt tools made in brazil, those goodyear tires made
in japan, Rigid tools made in china, and like that.
